Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn Earth and Environmental Science, coordinate and direct the activities of teacher assistants, and manage instructional time, student behavior, and student performance. Deliver clear and effective instruction, provide timely feedback, and maintain an engaging classroom aligned with curricular goals; collaborate with co-workers, parents, and the community; perform non-instructional duties as assigned; maintain appropriate records and demonstrate ability to motivate and support student learning in a safe, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
