Job Summary
Early Years Trainer Assessors needed to cover learners in the Southampton region. You will support a caseload of learners across your region (face to face and remotely), deliver Level 2, 3 or 5 apprenticeships and ASF short courses, manage learner journeys using the e-portfolio system, and deliver a range of qualifications. The role is home-based with travel required within approximately a 45 mile radius to visit learners and employers; around 70% of the week spent on the road with flexible diary planning. 25 days holiday plus holidays, flexible working, and a range of benefits are offered. DBS and Right to Work checks will be performed at offer stage. DBS and online checks and recording of certain audio/visual materials may occur as part of the role. The role welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants. Opportunities to work remotely or in person via Teams interviews are noted. The role emphasizes safeguarding and learning support with competency-based teaching and assessment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, or equivalent is essential
- Significant occupational competency in an Early Years setting
- An assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33,CAVA) is essential
- A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) would be advantageous
- Experience in building and managing your own caseload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
