Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Early Years Practitioner in Fife to promote children’s learning, development and welfare within a nursery setting and to work towards improving life chances for all. You will promote inclusion, diversity and equality, and communicate with stakeholders to contribute to nursery development. You must hold one of the following practitioner level qualifications (HNC Childhood Practice/Early Years Education & Childcare OR SVQ Level 3 Social Services, Children and Young People) and be registered with the SSSC within six months of starting, and obtain PVG membership. A working knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and strong interpersonal skills for teamwork are required.
Required Qualifications
- HNC Childhood Practice/Early Years Education & Childcare OR SVQ Level 3 Social Services, Children and Young People
- SSSC practitioner registration within 6 months of taking up employment
- Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland
- Working knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence
