Job Summary

Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities including storytelling, arts, sensory play, and outdoor adventures while ensuring children's wellbeing. Create a warm, safe environment by upholding safeguarding policies, managing hygiene routines, and maintaining accurate records. Build positive relationships with parents and team members to promote early years best practice. This term-time role involves 17.5 hours per week (14.30–18.00) at Iver Heath Infant & Junior School. Level 3 qualification in Early Years is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Children's Barred List Check
  • Exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
  • Satisfactory DBS and suitability checks
  • Knowledge of safeguarding
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety policies
  • Confidence to lead Early Years activities
  • Ability to support a team
  • Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children
  • Ability to plan, lead, and deliver structured activities
  • Ability to support children's development and wellbeing
  • Ability to provide healthy snacks, support toileting and hygiene routines
