Job Summary
Provide companionship and conversation while assisting with daily activities in clients' homes, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, transferring, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transporting to appointments or social events. Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the care plan. Shifts start early (as early as 6-7 AM) and include various short- to long-duration hours with pay rates described (up to $30/hr for 1-hour shifts, $22.50/hr for 2-hour shifts, and base rates $19-$22/hr for shifts 3+ hours). Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and TB test clearance; weekend availability required. Required Qualifications
- A compassionate, patient, and caring nature
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance
- Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray
- Availability to work 2 weekend days per month
