Job Summary
Early Preschool Teacher needed in Overland Park, KS to join New Horizon Academy. Responsibilities include teaching and engaging preschool-aged children, delighting in well-equipped classrooms, collaborating with a caring team, supporting staff, and building young minds. Must meet Kansas state licensing qualifications for teachers, maintain a full-time Mon-Fri schedule (6:30am–6:00pm), and effectively communicate with children, families, and colleagues while understanding licensing regulations and company policies. Required Qualifications
- Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program
- Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm
- Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies
