Job Summary
Early Morning Retail Operations Associate at DICK’S Sporting Goods responsible for greeting customers and teammates, assisting athletes to understand needs, processing merchandise in accordance with programs, maintaining an organized backroom, upholding merchandising standards, unloading trucks, processing freight, executing transfers/RTVS/claims, and supporting safety/loss-prevention procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer experience, efficient execution of operations, and adherence to service level standards, with opportunities to contribute to a positive, inclusive store environment and participate in broader store-wide tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs repetitively
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
- Targeted Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 (hourly)
- The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
