Job Summary
Provide 1-on-1 in-home care including personal cares, transferring, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, act as part of the care coordination team with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care, and accompany clients to appointments or social outings as needed. Early shift opportunities with start times around 6AM–7AM; shifts range from 1 hour to 12 hours with pay variances by shift (1-hour: $30/hr, 2-hour: $22.50/hr, 3+ hours: $19–$22/hr). Must have a compassionate, patient demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with auto insurance, and be available to work 2 weekend days per month.
Required Qualifications
- A compassionate, patient, and caring nature
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance
- Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray
- Availability to work 2 weekend days per month
