Job Summary
Lead and coordinate LETRS-aligned literacy professional development for K-5 and Early Childhood within the Office of Early Learning in North Carolina; collaborate with state and district leaders to align resources, coaching, and implementation of LETRS at district and school levels; model effective coaching and facilitation techniques; facilitate and participate in monthly virtual PD sessions and in-person state-required sessions; identify and plan aligned coaching support based on data analysis and district goals; travel within the assigned district to support district teams and schools; require advanced degrees and LETRS certification as part of qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the education field with a minimum of five years of specifically related experience in public education with demonstrated leadership experience; OR Master’s degree in the education field with a minimum of three years of specifically related experience in public education with demonstrated leadership experience
- Successful completion of K-5 LETRS
- Must live in or near the assigned district
- Travel is required. Must obtain a valid NC Driver's License
