Early Learning Transition & Content Specialist

Facilitate Nash County Public Schools transition to kindergarten committee meetings and support elementary schools and community childcare centers in developing transition plans. Monitor, evaluate, and edit these plans to identify growth opportunities while serving as a liaison between schools, families, and community partners. Coordinate transition events, manage kindergarten registration, and compile monthly data for stakeholder presentations. Coach preschool teachers on developmentally appropriate practices and observe instructional delivery district-wide. Maintain Smart Start grant compliance through required documentation and quarterly reporting.
