Job Summary
Guide and facilitate activities of children while maintaining appropriate ratios and safe supervision during transitions, transportation, and playground use. Implement the Planned Language Approach and Creative Curriculum, including individualization for IEPs and IFSPs, while collaborating with Family Support Workers and site partners on program activities. Monitor CLASS implementation, maintain Interrater Reliability through Teaching Strategies Gold, and ensure accurate documentation of school readiness skills and child files. Provide active supervision to ensure safety, adhere to transportation safety procedures and purchase approval requirements, and assist in program recruitment to maintain full enrollment. Requires a Level 4 credential, Associate's degree, and personal vehicle for site travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or child development from an accredited college or university
- Bachelors or AA in field outside of ECE with a minimum 60 college credit hours
- 15 college credit hours in early childhood education or child development
- Gateways Level 4 credential
- Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks
- Driving for work required with a personally owned vehicle
- Travel between sites required
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
