Job Summary
Coordinate the district’s Preschool Promise implementation and ensure compliance, enrollment systems, family engagement, and accounting/reporting requirements. Serve as the primary operational lead for Preschool Promise, liaising with DELC and partners, monitoring licensing and grant requirements, and supporting continuous quality improvement. Balance coordination responsibilities with approximately four hours of instructional teaching per day, and ensure staffing, instructional hours, and compliance standards are met across preschool programs. Provide coaching and professional development to staff, manage enrollment and reporting processes, and support grant-related activities and fiscal tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon Registry Online (ORO) Step 9 or higher
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in early childhood education, preschool program administration, family services, program compliance, grant management, quality improvement initiatives, or related fields
- Meets Oregon Preschool Promise Lead Teacher qualifications or has ability to meet qualifications
