Job Summary

Create a safe, nurturing environment for infants through Pre-K children by providing responsive care, individualized support, and daily activities that stimulate physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons using the Creative Curriculum and Orange Curriculum while assessing each child's needs with the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment tool. Maintain complete records, ensure classroom and building safety compliance with Colorado licensing regulations, and foster strong relationships with families and volunteers. Work collaboratively within the staff team to support children across all developmental domains and promote Hope House Colorado's core values in a play-based learning setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or early childhood special education
  • Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with at least 36 college credit hours in early childhood education or related field
  • Meet Colorado State Child Care Licensing educational qualification standards
  • PDIS Level 3 Credential
  • Infant Nursery Supervisor Credential
  • Ability to properly lift infants and young toddlers into and out of a crib
  • Experience working with children ages infancy through five
  • Lesson planning experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with at least 36 college credit hours in early childhood education or related field (preferred)
