Job Summary
Support the Early Learning Program Director with daily operations, classroom supervision, and regulatory compliance for ECECD licensing, New Mexico PreK guidelines, and CACFP. Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff while monitoring curriculum implementation using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD. Oversee Brightwheel documentation, maintain staffing ratios, and manage budgeting, purchasing, and inventory. Ensure child safety by enforcing Praesidium Guidelines, risk management, and abuse prevention policies. Assist with enrollment, family engagement events, and community liaison duties. Provide operational support to School-Age Care, including coverage arrangements and acting as Acting School-Age Site Coordinator or Acting Early Learning Program Director as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field
- CDC with progress toward Associates
- New Mexico Early Childhood Education & Care Department (ECECD) Assistant Director licensing requirements
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum two years of early childhood experience
- one year of leadership experience
- Knowledge of Brightwheel
- Knowledge of Teaching Strategies GOLD
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
- Knowledge of CACFP
- Knowledge of the State of New Mexico licensing regulations
- Strong organizational skills

- Proficiency with Google Workspace

- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
