Job Summary
Early Interventionist needed to coach and support families of children ages 0–4 with developmental delays or disabilities in their homes, childcare centers, or other natural environments. Responsibilities include implementing IFSP goals, collaborating with coordinators and therapists, documenting services in TEIDS, conducting developmental screenings and assessments, educating families on milestones and community resources, facilitating transitions to future programs, and maintaining confidentiality and DOE compliance. Requires a BS degree in a related field, relevant experience with young children or disabilities, reliable transportation for local travel, and successful background and drug screening. Positions available in Montgomery County and Clarksville, TN with in-person service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, Early Intervention, Deaf Education, Visual Disabilities, Special Education K-12, Elementary Education, Communication Disorders, and Speech Language Pathology, along with experience with young children and/or people with disabilities
- Must have reliable transportation, as local travel is required
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
