Job Summary
Early Interventionist position focused on delivering developmental therapy and ongoing developmental assessments to Part C eligible children and families under IFSP guidance. Responsibilities include direct intervention or consultation across settings, caseload management (16-20 full-time-equivalent children) in a 40-hour work week, maintaining accurate records and TEIDS entries, providing six-month and annual developmental data, communicating with parents and professionals, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of each child’s diagnosis and best practices, and participating in outreach to promote Early Learning Program services in Williamson County and surrounding areas. Requires a bachelor’s and/or master’s or doctoral degree in related fields, strong communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently; bilingual candidates are encouraged and may be compensated accordingly. Required Qualifications
- Degree in early childhood special education, early childhood education, child and family studies, early intervention, deaf education, visual disabilities, special education K-12, elementary education, communication disorders, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or related field with minimum one year experience for related field degrees
