Job Summary
Early Interventionist focuses on developing and implementing an instructional program for students with disabilities, planning and delivering specially designed instruction, and collaborating with SPED teachers, paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and other service providers. Responsibilities include creating and implementing IEPs annually, documenting progress, maintaining student confidentiality, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, utilizing CLASS measures for evaluations, preparing reports and communications to families, and contributing to professional development and PLCs. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, certification in Early Interventionist, and a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate.
