Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive family and child assessments to drive individualized service delivery for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. Provide early intervention services in natural environments, including homes and daycares, while establishing professional relationships based on trust. Create learning opportunities throughout the child's day and coach caregivers to enhance developmental progress in cognition, language, and motor skills. Develop functional Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals, monitor compliance with BabyNet policies, and submit accurate clinical documentation. Maintain confidential client records and function as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Requires a Bachelor's degree in early childhood or related fields, one year of experience with infants or toddlers, and the South Carolina Infant-Toddler Credential. Full-time position with travel to established territory; application submitted to the Team for Early Childhood Solutions (TECS) office.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel established territory as needed
- A Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Education: Early Childhood, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education
- Child/Human Development
- Interdisciplinary Studies (with approval from BabyNet State Office): with a focus in Early Childhood, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education
- Child Life
- Communication Disorders (does not require SLP licensure)
- Family Studies/Family and Consumer Sciences
- Psychology
- At least one year of documented experience working with infants and toddlers OR working with children ages birth to 5 years with disabilities
- Must submit an application to the Team for Early Childhood Solutions (TECS) office and meet requirements for the South Carolina Infant-Toddler Credential
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of experience with South Carolina's BabyNet Early Intervention Program
