Early Intervention Specialist/Service Coordinator

Job Summary
Conduct screening, assessment, and referral services for children ages 0-3 and their families as identified in Individual Family Service Plans. Schedule IFSP and annual assessment meetings within 45-day deadlines, enroll children, and develop family-friendly IFSPs using routines-based assessment and intervention. Deliver specialized skills, case management, and developmental services in home or natural environments, maintaining 85% of planned monthly services and minimizing no-shows through regular communication. Coordinate transition plans for children turning two and adhere to all Texas Administrative Code timelines. Report accurate statistics via monthly logs, case status reports, and annual performance reviews while attending weekly supervision and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree which includes a minimum of 18 hours of course credit relevant to early childhood intervention
- Three hours of semester course credit in early childhood development or early childhood special education
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Auto liability insurance
- Authorization for a criminal history background check
- Passing a pre-employment physical exam
- Two (2) years pediatric experience
- Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office programs
- Case Management experience
- Knowledge of infection control and universal precautions
- Standard First Aid and CPR
