Job Summary
Early Intervention Specialist needed in South Carolina (Rock Hill/Fort Mill and surrounding counties) to provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Responsibilities include in-home/home-based training with caregivers and child, education and support for families in areas of child development and family functioning, developing and implementing strategies to promote development, and monitoring progress. Requires at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience (or a Bachelor’s Degree in ANY field with 5 years of relevant experience). Travel up to 50-75% within the listed SC counties. Full-time with benefits; base salary around $40,000 with mileage reimbursement up to $565/month (potential earnings up to $46,780). Monday–Friday schedule (8:30–5:00).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in ANY field with 5 years of documented experience with infants and toddlers/birth-6 with disabilities
- 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old
- Driver's License (Required) & Reliable Car
- Willingness to travel 50-75% (Required)
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) (Preferred)
