Job Summary
Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in South Carolina. Perform family training with caregivers and children in home, daycare, or natural environments; provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning; develop and implement strategies to promote child development; monitor progress of child and family. Must reside in listed SC counties (Columbia/Lexington/Newberry/Kershaw/Fairfield/Elgin) with a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:30-5). Salary base is $40,000/year with travel mileage reimbursement at $0.45 per mile up to a $565 monthly cap, with potential earnings up to $46,780 annually when mileage is included. Benefits include 401(k) with matching, health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and Paid Time Off after probation. COVID-19 vaccine preferred; requires Driver's License and reliable vehicle; travel up to 50-75% (preferred). Location-based requirements include serving Columbia, Lexington, Newberry, Kershaw, Elgin, Blythewood, and Fairfield counties in South Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field
- 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old
- Prior early interventionist experience preferred
- Willingness for on-the-job training
