Job Summary
Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Perform home-based family training with caregivers and children in natural environments while developing strategies to promote child development. Monitor child and family progress through ongoing assessment and provide education on parenting and family functioning. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, plus one year of experience working with children birth to six. Candidates must reside in South Carolina counties including Columbia, Lexington, and Elgin, with a willingness to travel 50-75% of the time. A driver's license and CPR certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in South Carolina for consideration
- Must have at least 1 year of Experience w Children 0-6 Yr
- Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field
- 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old
- Driver's License (Required)
- Reliable Car
Desired Qualifications
- Prior early interventionist experience
- Prior early interventionist, teaching and early child development experience
- recent & upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training
- Bachelor's Degree in ANY field and 5 years of documented experience with infants and toddlers OR children age birth to 5 years with disabilities
- COVID-19 Vaccine is preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child)
- 50-75% (Preferred) willingness to travel
