Job Summary
Provide family-centered early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities; perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare, or natural environments; provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning; develop and implement strategies to promote the child’s development; monitor the progress of the child and family; must reside in SC and travel up to 50-75% to serve Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties; position is full-time with typical work schedule weekdays; requires related degree or equivalent experience and willingness for on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field
- 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old
- Prior early interventionist experience preferred
