Job Summary
Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Conduct home-based family training with caregivers and children in natural environments. Deliver education and support regarding child development, parenting, and family functioning. Develop and implement strategies to promote child development while monitoring progress for both the child and family. This role serves children ages birth to six across Sumter, Kershaw, Pinewood, Clarendon, and Lee counties in South Carolina. Full-time employment includes a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with 50-75% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in South Carolina for consideration
- Must have at least 1 year of Experience w Children 0-6 Yr
- Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field
- 1 year of documented experience reflected on your resume working with children birth to six years old
- Bachelor's Degree in ANY field and 5 years of documented experience with infants and toddlers OR children age birth to 5 years with disabilities
- Driver's License (Required)
- Reliable Car
Desired Qualifications
- Prior early interventionist experience
- Prior teaching experience
- Prior early child development experience
- recent & upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training
- COVID-19 Vaccine is preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child)
- 50-75% (Preferred) willingness to travel
- Prior early interventionist, teaching and early child development experience preferred
