Job Summary
Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties in South Carolina. Responsibilities include home visits, family training with caregivers and children in their home, daycare, or natural environments; delivering training, education, and support on child development, parenting, and family functioning; developing and implementing strategies to promote child development; and monitoring progress. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 1 year of documented experience with children ages birth to six; prior early interventionist experience preferred. May include on-the-job training. Job is full-time with travel up to 50-75% and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field
- 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old
- Prior early interventionist experience preferred
- Willingness for on-the-job training
- Driver's License (Required) & Reliable Car
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) (Preferred)
- 50-75% travel (Preferred)
