Job Summary
Conduct intake and ongoing assessments of infants and toddlers eligible for Early Intervention Services under the California Early Start program. Coordinate resources for families, develop Individualized Family Service Plans, and lead periodic reviews every six months. Manage transition services for toddlers and serve as a liaison to community organizations for high-risk populations. Provide transportation during working hours and after-hours emergencies while maintaining flexibility in work hours. This role requires a master's degree in social work or related field, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and knowledge of early childhood development. Based in the Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties office with potential hybrid remote options.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university
- Credentialed Speech Pathologist or Nurse with a PHN or PNP certification
- Three years of experience in working with children in early intervention agencies and resources
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years' experience in a professional position at NBRC or another California Regional Center with child case carrying responsibility
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Ability to provide transportation during working hours and after-hours emergencies or access to another form of reliable transportation which meets requirements
- Ability to provide minimum legal automobile liability insurance
- Flexibility in work hours
- Bilingual Spanish/English
