Job Summary
Conduct intake and ongoing assessments for infants and toddlers eligible for Early Intervention Services under the California Early Start program. Coordinate resources with families, develop Individualized Family Service Plans, and lead periodic reviews every six months. Facilitate transition services and serve as a liaison to community organizations addressing high-risk developmental populations. Provide service coordination to enhance child development and family capacity. Requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, transportation availability for after-hours emergencies, and flexibility in work hours. This role supports over 12,000 individuals with developmental disabilities across Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
- Master's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university
- Credentialed Speech Pathologist or Nurse with a PHN or PNP certification
- Three years of experience in working with children in early intervention agencies and resources
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years' experience in a professional position at NBRC or another California Regional Center with child case carrying responsibility
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Ability to provide transportation during working hours and after-hours emergencies or access to another form of reliable transportation which meets requirements
- Ability to provide minimum legal automobile liability insurance
- Flexibility in work hours
- Candidates must live within commute distance to their preferred NBRC office, as well as the geographical location of their assigned clients
