Job Summary
Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention in Manchester's city-wide Adult Social Care service. Lead short-term, proactive assessments and interventions to promote independence, safety, and wellbeing at home; deliver holistic OT assessments, support Reablement, provide technology-enabled care solutions, and offer practical/adaptive strategies to help citizens perform daily activities with minimal equipment when possible; operate autonomously across a city-wide service and work with adults to build community connections and access appropriate services. Role is HCPC-registered, requires a valid driver, 35 hours per week, with office presence and some home working.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Car driver
- 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday (9:00–16:30)
- Office presence required between community visits
- Some home working supported
