Early Head Start Program Support Aide

Assist in classroom, kitchen, and bus activities; support implementation of the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos; participate in family-style mealtimes; help maintain a safe, healthy learning environment; substitute for the teacher when needed; participate in screening, assessment, observation, and documentation of children; report suspected child abuse as required; complete routine kitchen/dining tasks and bus aide duties; attend required workshops and meetings; ensure understanding of Head Start Performance Standards and licensing regulations; stay current on safety practices and universal precautions; obtain and maintain Basic First Aid and CPR certification; communicate effectively with children, families, and staff; work with children birth to five, including those with disabilities; physically able to lift up to 45 pounds; travel to events or conferences as required.
