Job Summary
Deliver standards-based instruction across developmental domains while adapting lessons to individualized learning plans and adjusting strategies based on formative and summative data. Facilitate student learning in academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills through weekly standards-based lesson plans and age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities. Maintain a safe, sanitized classroom environment by implementing information security protocols, conducting safety checks, and attending to children's daily needs. Communicate student progress to parents through four annual conferences, home visits, and ongoing feedback to reinforce classroom goals. Respond to emergency situations involving security, health, or weather, and manage assigned projects and activities to meet established timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or comparable credential
- trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development
- Valid Georgia Driver's license
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint
- Background Clearance
- Sex Offender Registry Check
- Health Exam

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
