Job Summary
Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles while leading classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility. Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration, serving as a Mandated Reporter to recognize and document any suspected abuse or neglect. Build strong relationships with families through consistent communication and lead conferences or community events to strengthen involvement. Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen classroom systems, coach Assistant Teachers, and maintain all required certifications and training. Ensure zero major safety incidents and document observations for every assigned child monthly. Operate Monday–Friday, 7:00AM–6:00PM year-round.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass required state and company background checks
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes
- EEC teacher certification or requirements completed to be submitted for review
- Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day
