Job Summary
Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles while maintaining an organized, eco-mindful classroom. Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration to foster connection to nature, documenting observations for 100 percent of assigned children monthly. Build strong relationships with families through consistent communication, conferences, and community events, responding to inquiries within 24 hours. Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen classroom systems, coach Assistant Teachers, and complete all required certifications and training. Maintain zero major safety incidents and adhere to all child safety protocols and state reporting requirements. This role supports the Teacher Associate in creating a nurturing environment where children ages 0-5 learn, grow, and thrive within Babilou Family US's global network of early education centers.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass required state and company background checks
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes
- EEC teacher certification or requirements completed to be submitted for review
- Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day
