Early Education-Daycare Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles. Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration to foster connection to nature. Maintain an organized, eco‐minded classroom while modeling best practices for the teaching team. Build strong relationships with families through consistent communication and lead conferences or community events. Serve as a Mandated Reporter for suspected child abuse or neglect. Complete annual training requirements and collaborate with colleagues to strengthen classroom systems. Operate Monday–Friday, 7:00AM–6:00PM.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass required state and company background checks
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes
- EEC teacher certification or requirements completed to be submitted for review (for roles requiring EEC Certification)
- Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations
- Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day
