Job Summary
Lead and oversee an infant–Pre-K development program in a licensed Arkansas child care setting, ensuring adherence to AR licensing standards and Arkansas Better Chance requirements while collaborating with housing, career, case management, and mental health teams. Plan and implement daily and weekly lessons using Experience curriculum; integrate supplemental literacy, mathematics, and Conscious Discipline social-emotional programming; document progress with standard assessments and observation tools; provide individualized instruction and coordinate with specialists to support children, including those with special needs; supervise and guide staff to maintain a safe, engaging, and compliant learning environment; foster parent communication and smooth classroom transitions as part of a mission-driven, inclusive program.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience work and/or teaching in early childhood
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Pass criminal background checks, child and adult maltreatment registry checks, sex offender registry checks, and a pre-employment drug screen
- Complete a minimum of 30 clock hours of specific required professional development each year
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
