Job Summary
Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for Kindergarten students; implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum; plan and present effective lesson plans and teaching strategies; utilize varied modalities; communicate regularly with parents; collaborate with center staff to support enrollment and engagement; build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least one year of professional teaching experience required
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in ECE or related field required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- Must meet state specific guidelines and certifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred
