Job Summary
Conduct play-based educational programs and small group therapy sessions for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, including those with autism using the Early Start Denver Model. Deliver individual therapy and clinical services as a registered NDIS provider while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. Work 7.6 hours Monday and Tuesday from 8:00am to 3:30pm on a permanent part-time basis, with flexibility to join the casual pool for additional days.
Required Qualifications
- relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010)
- a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Experience in supporting children with high level support needs
- Australian working rights
- A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- A National Child Safety Training Certificate (through Geccko)
- A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)
- separate Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (22556VIC & 22578VIC)
- CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
- To be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays between 8am - 3:30pm
