Job Summary
Lead classroom planning, implementation, and documentation for infants through preschoolers, adapting curriculum based on children's needs while ensuring safety and supervision during large, small, and individual group times. Prepare classroom environments, manage daily operations including snack preparation and hygiene, and conduct ongoing developmental evaluations and assessments aligned with NAEYC and NH CCLU standards. Supervise Teacher I's, Program Assistants, and Volunteers; maintain family communication through journals and conferences; and support children with challenging behaviors using positive guidance and social-emotional strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Related Field
- minimum of three (3) years of experience in an early childhood education program
- Obtaining and maintaining New Hampshire Early Childhood Professional Development credential (per NH Licensing Requirements)
- Certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- ability to meet NH Child Care Licensing Unit's requirements for 'Center Director' per NH CCLU He-C4002
