Job Summary
Plan and implement daily indoor and outdoor activities aligned with the curriculum while ensuring the health, welfare, and safety of all children. Maintain daily attendance records and ongoing developmental portfolios tracking physical, social, emotional, and cognitive progress, including artwork and writing samples. Communicate daily with parents via sheets, notes, and verbal updates. Maintain visual and hearing capabilities for consistent supervision under Group Child Care Licensing safety requirements. Work on the floor and outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring the ability to lift children and move safely in moderate to loud noise levels. Enjoy flexible full-time hours with vacation after a year and holiday pay after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift children, including bending, stooping, stretching, squatting, pushing and pulling, and sitting and walking
- Work with moderate to loud noise levels
- Have mobility required to ensure the safety of the children
- Have visual and hearing capabilities that allow consistent supervision of children with Group Child Care Licensing safety requirements
