Job Summary
Provide support by assisting with daily teaching and functions of the classroom for the Early Childhood program. Facilitate play with young children and assist with room set up/clean up, preparing classroom materials and the daily schedule. Other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or Coordinator. Work hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 18-21 hours per week with occasional evening hours; may become benefit eligible if combined with other positions. Knowledge of early childhood practices, ability to work effectively with parents and teachers, and ability to work as part of a team. Requires lifting up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs on occasion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Successful Background Check required.
