Job Summary
Provide consultation to early learning settings serving infants and toddlers, ensuring educators identify behavioral health risks. Facilitate families accessing services by meeting individually and in groups to assess individual needs and develop appropriate strategies. Conduct workshops and trainings for staff and parents, while partnering with families to complete assessments, provide developmental guidance, and make referrals to clinical services. Assist childcare centers' leadership in addressing programmatic concerns such as vicarious trauma and staff turnover. Collaborate with outside agencies to support the referral process for low-income children birth to five years old.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in MSW, MFT, PsyD, PhD or related field
- Licensed or license-eligible (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD, as applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in young children's social and emotional functioning
- Knowledge of early development, trauma, attachment, and child development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Ability to travel locally within the Bay Area and statewide, as required
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of automobile insurance coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Familiarity with EHR tools to maintain case records and communication preferred
