Job Summary
Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum for infants and toddlers, and for ages 3–12 across the program. Maintain regular communication with parents via the Playground App to ensure transparency and engagement in each child’s daily experiences. Cultivate positive adult–child interactions using the CLASS approach, fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported. Support the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the center by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols. Part-time non-exempt role located at Healthy Kids Programs Early Learning Center in Old Forge, NY (Town of Webb School District), with hours varied from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience with kids under 13
- Medically cleared for communicable diseases including TB
- Warm, friendly, upbeat, professional, reliable, prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs
