Early Childhood Learning Director & Lead Teacher

Hands-on Early Learning Director / Lead Teacher role in a part-time Preschool classroom at Healthy Kids Programs’ Early Learning Center in Liberty, NY. Primary focus is serving as Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom (80–90% of the day) with administrative and leadership duties performed in short blocks. Responsibilities include lesson planning with Creative Curriculum, promoting positive adult-child interactions using CLASS strategies, ongoing child observations and developmental assessments, maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom aligned with ECERS/ITERS, family engagement and enrollment support, and contributing to program quality through ECERS, Creative Curriculum, and CLASS observations. The role requires collaboration with HR and regional leadership, adherence to NYS OCFS Day Care regulations, and participation in professional development while balancing classroom responsibilities.
