Job Summary
Early Childhood Instructor in Naperville, IL responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities within early childhood programs under supervision. Responsibilities include adapting daily curriculum, leading and monitoring classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, coordinating with the Program Manager and Early Childhood Coordinator on referrals and plans for children with special needs, and maintaining effective communication with guardians and staff. Duties also cover substitutions, notifying management of equipment or facility issues, documenting student behaviors, evaluating program content for improvements, and distributing written communications. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of early childhood or childcare experience, and certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within two months of hire; must be at least 21 years old; ability to lift up to 30 lbs; regular onsite attendance; and strong professionalism, organization, and problem-solving skills.
