Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

As RECE at licensed childcare centres in the Hamilton region, you will guide, teach, and ensure the safety and development of children from infant to school age. Responsibilities include managing and executing a developmentally appropriate program when needed, promoting physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being, supervising children and prioritizing safety, maintaining documentation of development and interactions, and communicating professionally with parents and co-workers. You will foster positive relationships, work cooperatively as a team member, and perform other duties as assigned while adhering to CCEYA, public health policies, and centre procedures.
