Job Summary
Deliver an emergent curriculum that supports each child’s development; maintain accurate daily documentation, progress reports, and attendance; support emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development in a nurturing environment; collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists or Occupational Therapists as required; ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations including classroom ratios; actively participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and classroom transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nova Scotia ECE License
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (Level B or C)
- Ability to safely push, pull, or lift up to 45 lbs
