Job Summary
Deliver an emergent curriculum tailored to each child’s development; maintain accurate daily documentation (progress reports and attendance); support children’s emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development in a nurturing environment; collaborate with external professionals as needed; ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, including classroom ratios; participate in team meetings and PD workshops. Must hold a valid Nova Scotia ECE License, clear Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry checks, valid First Aid and CPR (Level B or C), and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Location: Hatchet Lake, NS (Canada).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nova Scotia ECE License
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (Level B or C)
- Ability to safely lift, push, or pull up to 45 lbs
