Job Summary
Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's development and wellbeing. Collaborate with colleagues and families to create an inclusive community where every child feels known, valued, and loved. Embed Christian ethos and values into the curriculum while communicating confidently with children, parents, and staff. Maintain current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis qualifications alongside a Working with Children check. Contribute to a supportive team culture within a warm, homely facility on the grounds of Genesis Christian College.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
- current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management qualifications (HLTAID012 or equivalent)
- current Working with Children check (Blue Card)
- National Child Safety Training
- experience working within an Early Childhood Education environment
- strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and play-based, inquiry-led learning approaches
- ability to communicate confidently and positively with children, families and colleagues
- enthusiasm, energy and a genuine passion for working with young children
- support of the philosophy and mission of a Christian school
- willingness to actively contribute to the Christian ethos of Little Genesis and Genesis Christian College
