Job Summary
Early Childhood Educator for FCESS program serving children under age 3. Responsibilities include assessments of delays in motor, communication, cognition, social/emotional, and self-help areas; providing direct support and service coordination for children and families; maintaining direct services for a designated number of children; writing and keeping current case notes and files; participating in weekly team meetings and all scheduled in-service transdisciplinary meetings; conducting transdisciplinary assessments; acting as liaison between children, families, and local community agencies; coordinating 6-month reviews, annual evaluations, and new IFSPs for all assigned children; securing all necessary releases and consents and updating medical information and family changes that may affect development; mileage reimbursement for home visits; hybrid work arrangement with Claremont or Lebanon offices and weekly meetings in Claremont; reporting to FCESS Director; position may involve travel across Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, psychology, social work, or related field
- 2-3 years minimum of working with age 0-3
- Functional knowledge of support strategies and treatment techniques for birth to age 2
- NH license in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Proof of eligibility for employment in the U.S.
- Passing criminal background, MVR and OIG checks, BEAS check, DCYF check
- Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties
- Willingness to work in both office and family home settings
- Proof of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to obtain NH license if not already licensed
- Flexibility in schedule
- Mileage reimbursement for home visits
