Job Summary
Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development while maintaining a safe environment that protects their well-being. Assess each child's abilities, interests, and needs, then discuss progress with parents and staff. Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families, and attend necessary staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and perform other duties as assigned. Full-time employment offers a $18.00 hourly rate with a government wage enhancement, plus a 40% childcare discount for employees.
Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education - Level 2 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
- Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
- Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
- Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
