Job Summary
Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment and guide young toddlers as they build independence, language skills, and social-emotional development. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with the LEAP curriculum; support early language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Maintain consistent routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time; observe and document developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families regarding daily routines and milestones. Guide and support assistant teachers to maintain classroom consistency and ensure compliance with Wisconsin childcare licensing and school standards. Opportunities for advancement within the school and ongoing training and development are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in an early childhood education setting required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Lead Teacher qualified under Wisconsin childcare licensing preferred
